She also wrote three Vintage Toyshop Mysteries, set in a fictionalized East Aurora: Death of a Toy Soldier, Murder on the Toy Town Express, and Death of a Russian Doll. The Bridal Bouquet Shop series continued with For Whom the Bluebell Tolls, and Floral Depravity.
Her debut novel, Bloom and Doom, written as Beverly Allen, featured a crime-solving florist, who created bouquets based on the Victorian language of flowers-and was a national bestseller.
She cooks up cozy mysteries with a healthy dose of comedy and sometimes a splash of romance. She and her husband live in Elma, NY, where she enjoys crafts, campy seventies television, board games, babysitting her two granddaughters, and posting pictures of her cats on Facebook. Instead, she became a teacher, a pastor’s wife, and an amateur puppeteer before settling on murdering fictional people.
